Stephen P. Sapunor, Senior Vice President - (Santa Clara University; B.S. Finance)
Mr. Sapunor has worked in commercial real estate for the last twenty-one years. He started in commercial lending at the mortgage banking firm of C.A. Larson Investment Company in Beverly Hills, specializing in permanent financing for office, industrial and investment properties while representing the lending departments of various national banks and life insurance companies. He has been with Corporate Realty Associates for the last 18 years focusing primarily on representing private and corporate tenants in facility acquisitions and dispositions. Although specializing in office sale and lease transactions, Steve has extensive experience in medical, retail, industrial, flex and customer service center transactions. Mr. Sapunor has successfully completed transactions in twenty-four states and in Canada for various regional and national clients. He brings to the table a thorough understanding of site selection, lease and contract issues, financial analyses, contract negotiation and tenant improvement construction. Peter Carr, Vice President – (University of California, Los Angeles, B.S. Economics). Mr. Carr has been with Corporate Realty Associates, Inc. since 1990. His primary focus has been on national corporate real estate. Mr. Carr understands the operational needs of corporate clients for office, R&D and industrial land and buildings and how to effectively administer the real estate process on behalf of corporate clients. Peter has handled the office leasing for Mercury General Corporation since 1995. He has been extensively involved in the acquisition of land for Mercury, with the objective of developing regional office buildings, consulting them in all phases of the development process. He has also worked with Farmers Insurance Group of Companies throughout the country as one of their preferred vendors. He has successfully completed transactions in over twenty states and Canada. Alan Gecht, Vice President – (Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York, B.S. Business Administration). After graduating cum laude, with a major in accounting and a minor in law, Mr. Gecht was recruited by one of the big six national accounting firms and practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for seven years. In 1979 he became a full-time Real Estate Broker. He originally associated with a “traditional” national commercial real estate firm where he represented both landlords/sellers and tenants/buyers and was a continued recipient of the Salesperson of the Year awards. Alan also spent five years as the Vice President in charge of leasing operations at a commercial real estate development company. He gained tremendous insight into better understanding the real estate process from the landlords perspective and through this experience recognized the need for tenants/buyers to have professional and competent representation. In 1990 Alan committed to and has practiced with this philosophy in mind: successfully representing only the tenant/buyer. His diverse yet real estate related background brings distinct capabilities to the table; ultimately proving beneficial during the entire negotiation process. Gary T. Goodgame, Vice President – (University of Southern California, Bachelor of Science). Upon graduating from the University of Southern California, Gary T. Goodgame began his career in real estate in the mortgage banking industry. Since joining Corporate Realty Associates in 1997, Gary has facilitated the close 1 million + square feet of office and industrial property on a national basis. Mr. Goodgame has worked with companies such as Preferred Employers Insurance Company, Zenith Insurance Company, PacifiCare Health Systems, Superior National Insurance Group, Cable & Wireless USA, and Earthlink Network. John F. Triplett, Associate – (University of Southern California, B.S. Urban Planning & Development). Mr. Triplett’s diversified experience includes the following firms: Colyear Development Corp., analyzing their current commercial real estate assets, Quixote Studios, working with the controller in the accounting and finance department, and the Knight Insurance Agency, representing commercial client’s insurance liabilities. Mr. Triplett gained tremendous insight and better understanding into the fundamental needs of the corporate user by representing their interests in real estate, accounting and insurance.
