    Science and Engineering Company To Occupy Corbin Avenue Property for 15 Years. Arete Associates signed a 15-year lease for 84,220 square feet of office space. It will occupy the entire second and third floors in the three-story, Class A office building at 9301 Corbin Ave. in Northridge. Arete, a science and engineering solutions company, will take occupancy in June. The property itself has 125,000 square feet of rentable building area, is on 5.57 acres and was built in 1981. Alan Gecht and Jeremy Dee of Corporate Realty Associates Inc. in Beverly Hills represented Arete. David Solomon and Bennett Robinson of CB Richard Ellis in Universal City represented the landlord, 9301 Corbin Associates LLC.

  • KFRG Inks $1.2M Office Renewal in Colton

    95.1 FM Keeps Space at Washington Office Plaza. KFRG 95.1 FM, a country music radio station owned by CBS Radio Stations, renewed 9,242 square feet for 10 years at 900 E. Washington Blvd. in Colton, CA. Total consideration for the lease is valued at $1.23 million. The space is located on the third floor of Building I in the Washington Office Plaza. The Class B office property totals 67,019 square feet. KFRG can be heard in the Orange County and Los Angeles County areas. Emily Herakovich of Corporate Realty Associates represented the tenant. The landlord, Drawbridge Properties, represented itself.

  • HSBC Moves to Downtown Los Angeles

    Global Bank Signs $5M Lease for Regional West Coast HQ. Hong-Kong Shanghai Bank of China (HSBC) will open its West Coast regional headquarters in downtown Los Angeles. The company leased approximately 21,100 square feet of the Figueroa Tower, at 660 S. Figueroa. Total consideration for the 10-year lease was valued at $5 million, with options to extend. The Figueroa Tower is a Class A, 24-story office building located in the central business district of downtown Los Angeles. Jeremy Dee and Gary Goodgame of Corporate Realty Associates represented HSBC, while Milbank Real Estate Services and John Eichler of Cushman & Wakefield represented Figueroa Tower.

  • Apria Signs 101,000-SF Lease in Overland Park

    Home Healthcare Giant Takes Space at Sprint Campus. Apria Healthcare Inc., a home healthcare products and services company, signed a seven-year lease for 101,345 square feet in Overland Park, KS. Built in 2000, 6050 Sprint Parkway is a 235,148-square-foot, Class A office building. Apria will occupy the third and four floors of the five-story building and has already started the build-out process. Stephen Sapunor, Gary Goodgame and Jeremy Dee of Corporate Realty Associates Inc. represented Apria. Robert Fagan of CBRE Kansas City represented Sprint, the landlord.
